You never want to feel like you’re tugging/pulling at your skin . Your Gua Sha should glide smoothly with a light “slip” from your facial oil. A soft flush of redness after use is completely normal. In traditional Chinese medicine, this visible redness, known as sha, is seen as a positive healing response a sign of increased circulation and detoxification.

The level of redness will vary from person to person but should fade within 20–30 minutes. Your skin should never feel sore or bruised. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and allow your skin to settle before resuming.
Care Instructions
  1. After cleansing, apply 3–5 drops of Barrier Restore Nutrient Oil to the face, neck, and décolletage.
  2. Hold the Gua Sha at a 45-degree angle place the curved part gently against your cheek, the curved design will allow for gentle and smooth glide. Gently glide upwards and outwards from the centre of your face.
  3. Repeat each section 2–3 times, finishing with downward strokes from temples to the base of your neck.
  4. For extra soothing benefits, chill the stone for a few minutes before use.
  5. Use for 3–5 minutes daily as part of your self-care ritual to calm, sculpt, and rejuvenate your skin.
